Water leak prompts lane closure on Central

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority says a main water leak near Presbyterian Hospital is affecting traffic in the area.

Water Authority crews are working on the leak at 1100 Central Ave. SE.

“The right lane heading eastbound on Central Ave. has been closed,” the utility said in a news release. “Commuters are encouraged to avoid this area.”

The Water Authority said it’s unclear how long traffic will be impacted.
