Spooky fun: Sky City Casino Hotel offers Halloween costume contest, ‘SCARE-aoke’

Sky City Casino Hotel is celebrating Halloween with a spooktacular costume contest and some haunting fun promotions.

Bingo players will want to creep over to the bingo hall for “Bingo’s Halloween Boo’s of Cash” promotion on Saturday, Oct. 26. Guests will get their chance to win extra cash with another exciting $3-3 on card game. See the Bingo room for more details.

Dress up in your Halloween best for some wicked winnings in the costume contest. Entrants can win a portion of the $8,000 total cash giveaway for the best overall, scariest, funniest, most creative, judge’s choice and people’s choice. The payout categories are $1,000 for best overall, $600 for first place, $500 for second place and $400 for third place. Judge’s choice will receive $300; people’s choice gets $200.

Masks are not permitted on the casino floor. The costume contest is open to ages 21 and older. Participants must register in the PiƱon Conference Rooms before 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Slither over to Sky Lounge for “SCARE-aoke Night” from 8 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, Oct. 31. Prior to the special karaoke night come in for live music, entertainment and drink specials every weekend from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Every week patrons ages 50 and older are eligible to win $100 cash between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays as part of the “Young at Heart Senior Drawing.” Senior players are eligible after earning 10 points within the promotion day. Senior patrons will receive $20 free play when they accrue 400 points between the promotion hours.

Accrue five times the points between 8 a.m. and midnight every Thursday at Sky City Casino, Bingo and Sky City Travel Center. Patrons must actively be playing with their players card inserted in their preferred slot machine or presented at table games or bingo.

Sky City is helping its players card members gas up for less. Every time guests use their card at their favorite slot machine or table games they earn points. Patrons can redeem their points to purchase gas at the Sky City Travel Center or Sky Way Travel Center.

INN OF THE MOUNTAIN GODS RESORT & CASINO: Take a day trip to Mescalero for a chance to win cash or a new Jeep Renegade. Take part in the “Whirl Wins Cash & Car Giveaway” on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October and November. Patrons can win their share of $100,000 cash or win one of two 2019 Jeep Renegades by playing their favorite slots. One of the big drawings will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Win fast cash or free play on Fridays in October and November during the “$9,000 Friday Night Kickoff Hot Seats” promotion. Three winners will be drawn from the hot seat every half hour beginning at 6 p.m. every Friday to win their share of $9,000 in cash and Free Spirit Play.

Win big on Sunday, Oct. 27 during the “Think Pink Hot Seat Cash Drawing.” Wear pink and play your favorite slot machines every half hour between 3 and 9 p.m. Sunday for a chance at $100 cash. Winning patrons not wearing pink will win $50 in Spirit Play.

Grab a bite and a cocktail or soft drink while enjoying a game of Bingo at Club 49. Games take place at 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday. There are 11 games each session. Paper and electronic packages are available and daubers for purchase. Bingo buy-in sales open 30 minutes prior to each session.
