Marble Brewery is commemorating Día de los Muertos with music, art and altars.
The third annual Muertos Fiesta will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the brewery’s Downtown location.
“We’re celebrating Día de los Muertos at Marble because it is important to honor the dead through art, music, food and drink,” Geraldine Lucero, marketing and events coordinator at Marble Brewery, said in an email. “This is a special celebration featuring live music and performances from Jade Masque, Sol De La Noche, Yeztli Tanzt Y Arte and Red Light Cameras.”
Local artists and vendors will host a Muertos Market, and altars will be displayed for guests to add pictures and candles for loved ones they miss, Lucero said.
“We are converting our north parking lot near the fermentation hall into a market space,” Lucero said. “Local vendors include Two Stoned Betties, Danny Hart, High Desert Flame Works, Ooey Cuy Cuy, Enchanting Soap Collections, Oh Stitch Pleaze and more.”
Artist James Montoya will be creating Muertos-inspired art on the patio that will be up for auction.
