On a per-share basis, the Austin, Texas-based company said it had profit of 2 cents.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 4 cents per share.
The natural gas compression services company posted revenue of $175.8 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $172.4 million.
USA Compression shares have increased 33% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 17% in the last 12 months.
