ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Local police and the FBI are looking for a man they say robbed a bank in Northeast Albuquerque Friday afternoon.
According to an email release from an FBI spokesperson, the unidentified male entered a BBVA Compass Bank on Candelaria near Carlisle around 4:52 p.m. and presented a “demand note” to a teller, who gave him an undisclosed amount of money.
“The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-20s, approximately 5’6″ to 5’7″ tall, with short curly hair and an unshaven face,” FBI spokesman Frank Fisher said.
He said the suspect was wearing a blue baseball cap, a dark jacket and light-colored pants and left the bank on foot.
The FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
