SANTA FE – The remains of a 20-year-old Santa Fe man who has been missing since last month were recovered on Friday, and a suspect has been charged with murder but is at large, the Santa Fe Police Department said in a news release Friday night.

Seven others were arrested on unrelated warrants. They were among 15 people who were interviewed at a home on Calle Anna Jean, police said.
Daniel Gisler was reported missing on Nov. 21. The suspect in his death is James Garcia, 26, charged with an open count of murder but who was at large Friday night.
The news release said search warrants were executed at the residence in the 2700 block of Calle Anna Jean and at homes on Pueblo Pintado and Calle Viejo.
A SWAT team assisted in the search on Calle Anna Jean, in a neighborhood west of Santa Fe High School off Siringo Road.
A canine team from Bernalillo County helped find Gisler’s body. His car was found at the same property where the remains were located.
Pueblo Pintado and Calle Viejo are in south Santa Fe.
