American Pickers is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking” on History, according to a news release. The show follows The duo, called two of the most skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques.

They seek out and find sizeable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them.

Throughout their series, they hit the back roads from coast to coast, on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics, according to the release. Along the way, the Pickers meet characters often with remarkable and exceptional items.

The pair’s goal is to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while learning about America’s past along the way, officials with the show said.

Wolfe and Fritz have located a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something new, and possibly extraordinary items and the fascinating background on them.

Anyone willing to show their collection can send an email to americanpickers@cineflix.com or place a phone call to 855-OLD-RUST with a name, phone number, location and description of the collection and photos if possible.

The show has not made any determinations about which parts of New Mexico it plans to visit.
