Final visitation, services for City Councilor Ken Sanchez set

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Services for City Councilor Ken Sanchez will take place Sunday and Monday, according to the city.

Sanchez, who was in his fourth term on the council, died earlier this week at the age of 63 after suffering an undisclosed medical emergency in November.

Sunday’s schedule:

5 p.m.-6 p.m.: Visitation at our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW

6 p.m.: Rosary recited by Patricia Muniz-Roberts

Monday’s schedule:

Noon-1 p.m.: Final visitation at Kiva Auditorium, 401 2nd NW (The parking garage on the east side of the Convention Center will be available at no charge)

1 p.m.: Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated. Entombment will follow services at Mount Calvary Cemetery
