Man arrested for pointing gun at Cowgirl employee

SANTA FE – Mark Romero, 42, has been arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after an incident at the Cowgirl BBQ on Guadalupe Street, according to a statement issued Thursday by the Santa Fe Police Department.

On Monday, Romero allegedly pointed a handgun at the Cowgirl employee after being asked to leave the bar. He was arrested Thursday at his residence and taken to the Santa Fe County jail, where he was booked on the fourth-degree felony charge, the statement said..
