Super Bowl bets that will make your Sunday super

There’s no better way to make Super Bowl Sunday more super than by winning some money.

Here’s some of my picks that will cash some tickets after the big game and maybe ease the pain of not having any NFL games until August. (Odds courtesy of the sportsbook at Santa Ana Star casino)

Kevin Hendricks, Albuquerque Journal

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill under receiving 75.5 yards (-115)

Hill can scoot no doubt but San Francisco cornerback Richard Sherman should be able to slow him down.

Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman over 22.5 receiving yards (-115)

When Hill and Hardman look at each other it’s like that Spider-Man Meme. Hardman ran a 4.33 4-yard dash while Hill ran a 4.34 at the combine. With Hill being blanketed by Sherman, expect Hardman to get loose for a big play or two.

San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert over 80.5 rushing yards -115

When you have the hammer, you gotta use it and Mostert has been pounding defenses this postseason. Expect more of the same Sunday in Miami.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes under 300.5 passing yards -110 and running back Damien Williams over 52.5 rushing yards -115

There’s no question that Mahomes has got the goods. But Kansas City will try to slow down the fearsome 49ers’ pass rush with a healthy dose of run plays.

Kansas City to win by exactly six points +2200

My pick is Chiefs 34, 49ers 28.

Are these picks locks to win Sunday?

You know what, maybe.
