VALENTINE’S DAY DONUT AND BEER PAIRING: Rebel Donut and Boxing Bear Brewing Company have joined forces to make your Valentine’s Day a little sweeter. Head to either of Boxing Bear’s locations at 10200 Corrales Road NW or 1710 Central SW for a flight of five, 4-ounce beers and five mini-doughnuts for $25 per person. CHOCOLATE LOVERS AFTERNOON TEA: Fall into chocolate bliss on Sunday, Feb. 16 at The Fragrant Leaf tea shop, 3207 Silver SE. The three-course afternoon tea will have seatings at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The menu will feature mozzarella strawberry salad with chocolate vinaigrette, chicken cordon bleu tea sandwich, red velvet scone with mascarpone cream, strawberry cheesecake mousse, white chocolate apricot butter cookie, chocolate mascarpone tart, classic Keemun black tea, amber pearl oolong tea and more. VALENTINE’S DAY DINNER AT LEVEL 5: A romantic evening awaits on Feb. 14, at LEVEL 5 at Hotel Chaco, 2000 Bellamah NW. The three-course dinner begins at 4:30 p.m. with goat cheese, roasted beets, white chocolate, pistachio, chives, and infused oil paired with Bodegas Naveran Cava Brut. It is followed with a chicken breast ballottine filled with lobster mousse accompanied by Clos Du Bois Chardonnay. VALENTINE’S DAY DINNER FOR TWO: Celebrate love with a special dinner for two at Rock & Brews, 4800 Montgomery NE, beginning at 4 p.m. Feb. 14. The menu will feature a dinner salad, choice of entree of either sirloin, chicken or salmon as well as a choice of two sides to include a baked potato, vegetables, rice, or French fries. The dinner will feature a choice of prosciutto wrapped shrimp or baked brie to share followed by either tomato bisque or endive salad. The offers continue on Wednesday, Feb. 12, with a delectable dessert named Red Velvet Raspberry Rose Mini Indulgence. On Thursday, Feb. 13, enjoy a Valentine pairing for two.
