Interactive multisport game simulators are coming to Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino in Mescalero.

Guests can enjoy a variety of golf and other games, including the Topgolf target game, Zombie Dodgeball, Hockey Shots, Baseball Pitching and Carnival Classic, in a swanky but comfortable space with lounge seating. The area features wood-like tile flooring, modern copper ceiling tiles, elegant wallpaper with a soft metallic sheen and tufted leather wall panels in a rich chocolate brown surrounding the simulator bays, according to an Inn of the Mountain Gods news release.

“Inn of the Mountain Gods is committed to bringing the most cutting-edge offerings to our guests,” Frizzell Frizzell, Jr., COO at Inn of the Mountain Gods, said in the news release. “It is with great pride we welcome Topgolf Swing Suite to Mescalero and add one more incredible amenity for our guests to enjoy.”

The Full Swing Golf simulator technology is the same used by PGA Tour professionals Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and Jason Day for their off-course practice. Topgolf Swing Suite guests will also be able to practice their swing on the same simulator technology.

Topgolf Swing Suite guests can choose from a variety of virtual games to play on a massive screen. Players can go from smashing a 7-iron to striking out a batter with a fastball to ending the zombie apocalypse, according to the news release. Up to eight people can play, eat and be entertained in each bay. The spaces are available to rent for businesses, social gatherings, corporate meetings, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, team-building events and more.

The Topgolf Swing Suite is part of recent additions at the AAA Four Diamond-rated property, including The Spa at the Inn and Sportsbook at the Inn, powered by William Hill.

“We are proud to team with Inn of the Mountain Gods to provide a new kind of interactive social experience that will entertain visitors of all ages and skill levels in southern New Mexico,” Topgolf Swing Suite President Ron Powers said in the news release. “Powered by industry-leading Full Swing simulators, games are designed for both non-golfers and golfers alike so everyone can have a great time.”

The suite is expected to open to the public on Saturday, Feb. 22. It will be on the second floor near the resort’s pool. The suite will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Advanced booking is recommended.
