ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Detectives released the name of a young man found dead behind the wheel of a car last week in Northeast Albuquerque.

Gilbert Gallegos, an Albuquerque police spokesman, said officers found the body of Andres Loera Ramirez, 19, in a car in the 1800 block of Hoffman NE, near Indian School and Pennsylvania.

He said police were responding to a shooting incident around 3:15 a.m. on Feb. 13 when they made the discovery. Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gallegos did not say how Ramirez died or if they have any suspects.
