ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A drive-by shooting sent bullets through the walls of a Southeast Albuquerque charter school as class was about to begin last week.
One of the bullets went into a classroom and hit a large video screen, which stopped it, according to an Albuquerque Police Department report. Another bullet went into a wall, through an office and stopped inside a water heater closet.
Nobody was injured or arrested in the incident.
School employees told officers that students who witnessed the incident didn’t speak with investigators because they “do not like police.”
