Dutch Bros Coffee is coming to the Land of Enchantment this year with the opening of two locations in Rio Rancho.

“We are super excited to enter New Mexico in Rio Rancho,” Dutch Bros spokeswoman Rilynn Davis said. “It is a great, family-oriented community,”

The first location, near Unser and Wellspring, will open late summer to early fall at the new Petroglyph Medical Plaza.

Davis said the second location will open this year, but did not specify where in Rio Rancho it would be.

Each location should employee about 40 people from the community, Davis said.

Dutch Bros Coffee was founded in 1992 by brothers in Grants Pass, Oregon and has since expanded across the West Coast with 380 locations, according to the company’s website.
