A motorcyclist involved in a crash at Interstate 40 and 4th Street has died, the Albuquerque Police Department says.
Officer Simon Drobik, an APD spokesman, said a car collided with a motorcycle.
The collision forced the closure of eastbound I-40 for hours Sunday evening. All lanes had been reopened by around 6:15 p.m, according to an APD social media post.
Drobik did not immediately provide information on the motorcyclist.
