Need a mask? Bernalillo County’s got you covered

Got a face mask?

For those who don’t, Bernalillo County will be distributing 5,000 free, washable, reusable masks on Friday, May 22.

The masks will be given away from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at eight county facilities, according to a news release.

Those locations are:

• Mountain View Community Center, 201 Prosperity SE

• Paradise Hills Community Center, 5901 Paradise Hills NW

bright spot• Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center, 9800 Fourth NW

• South Valley Multipurpose Center, 2008 Larrazolo SW

• Vista Grande Community Center, 15 La Madera Road, Sandia Park

• Westside Community Center, 1250 Isleta SW

• Bernalillo County Atrium building, 6840 Second NW

• CARE Campus, 5901 Zuni SE

The county said each commission district has 1,000 masks to distribute, for a total of 5,000 to be given away.

Any county resident is welcome to get a mask – one per person – the county said.
