LAS CRUCES — Five past New Mexico State victories — including the men’s basketball win in 1990 over eventual national champion UNLV and the victory that clinched a long-deprived bowl bid in 2017 — will re-air throughout the state over 16 days beginning Tuesday on Comcast Channel 77.
All games will re-air at 7 p.m.. Fans will need to be Comcast subscribers to watch. The lineup:
Tuesday: Men’s basketball vs. UNLV (Jan. 8, 1990)
July 7: Men’s basketball vs. New Mexico (Dec. 4, 2018)
July 8: Football vs. South Alabama (Dec. 2, 2017)
July 14: Men’s basketball ver Grand Canyon (Jan. 10, 2019, Johnny McCants’ buzzer-beating heave from beyond half court wins)
July 15: Men’s basketball vs. UNM (Nov. 17, 2017)
“Thanks to members of Aggie Nation who suggested we try and make this project a reality,” athletic director Mario Moccia said in a statement.
NMSU’s athletics multimedia rights holder Learfield IMG College and its locally based NM State Sports Properties struck the deal with Comcast.
