Police ID man killed in shooting late last month

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Detectives have released the name of a man found dead following a shooting at a house party last month in Southeast Albuquerque.

Gilbert Gallegos, an Albuquerque police spokesman, said 31-year-old Johnny Hardy was fatally shot June 29 at a home near Southern and Eubank. No arrests have been made.

Police responded around 3:10 a.m. to the shooting in the 10900 block of Tomatillo SE. Officers found Hardy with “apparent gunshot wounds” in the backyard of a home.
