A once-familiar retail attraction in Old Town Albuquerque is set to return.
The City of Albuquerque announced Tuesday that the Portal Market on the plaza will reopen Thursday, allowing “local artisans to showcase their authentic handcrafted jewelry and pottery,” a city news release reads.
Daily operations will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. “with vendors committing to follow new COVID-safe policies and procedures following state health orders,” the city said, adding that those safety precautions include physical distancing, contactless transactions and increased cleaning.
The Portal Market is on the east side of the plaza.
