Man shot, injured outside NW ABQ strip mall

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A shooting on Thursday morning in Northwest Albuquerque left a man in critical condition.

Gilbert Gallegos, a spokesman for the Albuquerque Police Department, said the shooting occurred in the 3200 block of Coors NW, near Sequoia.

“The victim in this shooting is alert and expected to survive his wounds,” he said.

Gallegos did not say if police have any suspects or give any other details.
