The New Mexico Department of Health reported 226 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths, Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 21,016 cases and 654 deaths.
The three deaths, according to a news release from the Governor’s Office Sunday, consisted of two men in their 40s, one from Chaves County and the other from Rio Arriba County. The third was a woman in her 70s from McKinley county. All three had underlying health conditions.
New Mexico’s new cases include 61 in Bernalillo County, 35 in Doña Ana County, 22 in Curry County, 19 in Santa Fe County, 16 in Lea County, 15 in Chaves County, 13 in Sandoval County, 12 in Valencia County, six each in Lincoln and Eddy counties, five in McKinley County, three in San Juan and Cibola counties, two in Taos and Roosevelt counties; and one each in Quay, Torrance, San Miguel, Otero, Luna and Colfax counties.
