Starline Printing to move to Journal Center in October

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Commercial printing company Starline Printing will be moving to the Albuquerque Journal building in Journal Center starting Oct. 1, according to a company release.

The printing company – which shares ownership with the Journal – is currently based at 7111 Pan American NE. It will move to 7777 Jefferson NE, where it will be located in the old Albuquerque Tribune newsroom.

The move will be conducted in two phases: On Oct. 1, the company will move its customer service, sales and pre-press departments, along with new bindery equipment. In the second half of 2021, the company also plans to install new press equipment.

“Following Starline Printing’s history of bringing new technology to the market, the first move will feature new Standard Finishing bindery equipment,” president William P. Lang said in the release. “This state-of-the-art equipment will feature computer controlled folding, scoring, collating and saddle stitching to enhance delivery times for today’s customer of their finished print products.”

The second phase will include press equipment with improved computer-driven operation to upgrade the current Heidelberg.

Starline Printing can be reached at 505-345-8900.
