ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Marshals arrested David Luis Aguilera in Las Cruces Monday night.
The last of seven inmates who escaped from a Las Cruces halfway house Saturday was recaptured Monday night in Las Cruces, KOB-TV reported.
U.S. marshals arrested 21-year-old David Luis Aguilera in Las Cruces, Eyewitness News 4 said.
The seven fugitives walked away from the Diersen Charities Halfway House between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Saturday, according to a report in the Alamogordo Daily News.
The inmates were in custody on various charges, including methamphetamine trafficking, weapons violations, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault causing great bodily harm, according to the Daily News.

The Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Department says 23-year-old Mario Vasquez was arrested about 2 a.m. Monday.
Earlier, the department announced 24-year-old Ricardo Real, 32-year-old Brian Dolan, 24-year-old Colby Edward Steele and 35-year-old Laurence Mose were captured Sunday.
The sheriff’s department says 20-year-old Jese Carrillo was captured Saturday — the same day the seven left the Charities Halfway House.
Authorities continued the search for 21-year-old David Luis Aguilera.
