Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad to run Sept. 21

The good news keeps rolling in for the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.

With travel quarantine restrictions between New Mexico and low-risk states lifted, the railroad is set to begin services running out of Chama beginning Sept. 21.

Previously this year, the railroad was running services between Antonito, Colorado, and Osier, Colorado.

The Cumbres & Toltec was also crowned the No. 1 “Best Scenic Train Ride” by USA Today last month. Selected by a panel of travel experts and USA Today editors, the Cumbres & Toltec took home the title after voting by readers. The C&TSR also won the award in 2017 and 2019.
