PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — Dominic Bramante, who guided the Duke City Gladiators to Champions Indoor Football championships in 2018 and 2019 before not being re-signed, was named coach of the expansion Prescott Valley Indoor Football League team Thursday.
“We were looking for a passionate coach who will put community first and still win a championship,” said owner Trey Medlock, who was Chief Operating Officer of Duke City before the 2020 season was aborted.
Rejoining Bramante will be ex-University of New Mexico player Landrick Brody (offensive coordinator), Jayson Pena (defensive backs coach), Matt Caward (special teams coach/chaplain) and Charles Fernandez (equipment manager).
There are 16 teams in the IFL, including the Gladiators, who joined the league after the 2019 campaign.
