ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Fuddruckers locations in Albuquerque and Farmington are here to stay, according to a marketing director for New Mexico franchise owner Cafe Venture Company.
Following a Sept. 8 announcement that Fuddruckers’ parent company Luby’s, Inc. was planning to liquidate all assets, there were worries that local locations would be affected, marketing director Tamara Fitzgerald Ludwig said in a news release.
However, New Mexico locations of Fuddruckers will not be a part of the liquidation.
All 11 Fuddruckers locations owned by Cafe Venture Company will remain open, Ludwig said. The franchise owner operates locations of the burger restaurant in New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma.
