ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The city of Albuquerque let the public onto the old rail yards site in Barelas on Saturday, offering tours and holding an open house, as part of the process to develop a master plan for the historic area.

The city, which bought the property in 2007, and master developer Samitaur Constructs have been holding public input meetings and working to develop a master plan since August, according to the city.
