ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police officers were working the scene of a homicide in the 200 block of Valencia Drive SE just south of Central near Zuni Sunday night.

APD in an email said an alert from a ShotSpotter device — gunshot detection system — was triggered shortly before 10 p.m. and moments later there were calls coming in for shots fired.

Officers arrived in the area and an individual was located unresponsive, police said.

No other details were available. The investigation was continuing.
