Parts of Interstate 25 shut down for weather conditions, crash

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Southbound Interstate 25 is closed at the Sunport exit after a single vehicle rollover crash, according to a spokesman for the Albuquerque Police Department.

“The driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital where they are currently listed in critical condition,” Officer Daren DeAguero wrote in an email.

Meanwhile, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office and New Mexico State Police shut down both Northbound and Southbound lanes between mile marker 209 and Avenida Cesar Chavez due to hazardous weather.

“Please stay home!” BCSO wrote in a tweet.
