The owners of Diaz Landscaping Management are helping keep Rio Rancho kids and adults warm this winter.

For the past three years, James and Elaine Diaz have kept a coat rack outside of their business at 661 Quantum Road, Suite 12, Elaine Diaz said. There is also a box for donations next to the coat rack.

The rack has hats, gloves, coats for kids and a few coats for adults, she said.

“Anyone can stop by and donate, and anyone can stop by and pick up,” she said.

If parents call 433-1449 with what they need, Elaine said she will do her best to make sure they get it. The coat drive and distribution will end Nov. 13.

“I have seen kids in school and around that just don’t have coats and it makes me quite sad, and so I love helping and I love giving,” Elaine said. “I just want to make sure that all the kids are warm this winter.”
