ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Through Wednesday, eastbound I-40 from Tijeras to Zuzax will be down to one lane from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays.
Here are other projects drivers should watch out for, the state Department to Transportation says in its latest traffic report:
Interstate 25/Tramway to Bernalillo Interstate Reconstruction
— Today, starting at 9 p.m. and through 5 a.m., northbound I-25 between Tramway and Bernalillo will be reduced to one lane. The speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph northbound and a double fine zone is in effect.
— Monday through Thursday, 9 p.m. each evening to 5 a.m., southbound I-25 between Bernalillo and Tramway will be reduced to one lane. The speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph and a double fine zone is in effect.
Other Albuquerque-Area Work
— Monday through Friday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday, Paseo Del Norte in both directions at San Pedro will have various single lane closures for signal installation.
— From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, southbound Coors at Barcelona will have the right lane closed for signal work.
— Monday, starting at 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., eastbound I-40 will have the Sixth Street on ramp closed for utility work.
— Through Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday, Paseo Del Norte eastbound at Barstow will have the right lane closed for sidewalk construction.
— Through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, N.M. 14 from mile marker 6.28 to 6.70 will be reduced to one lane only for guardrail installation. Flagmen will be on site to move traffic through the work zone.
— Through Friday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each weekday, westbound I-40 between Eubank and Washington will have various left lane closures for diversion channel repair.
— Through March 2010, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, the Tramway/Central intersection will have various lane closures and activity on the shoulders during a streetscaping project.
