BCSO: Woman shot to death in NE ABQ home

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Detectives are investigating after a woman was found fatally shot Thursday night at a Northeast Albuquerque home, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

BCSO spokeswoman Jayme Fuller said deputies responded to a shooting in the 6400 block of Franciscan NE, near Edith and Osuna.

She said deputies found several bullet holes in the side of the home and discovered a woman dead from an “apparent gunshot wound” inside the house.

“Detectives responded to the scene immediately, interviewed multiple witnesses, and gathered evidence,” Fuller said. “There is no suspect in custody at this time.”
