LAS CRUCES — The New Mexico State men’s basketball team announced its first non-conference game of the new season. It will be against 3-0 Arizona Christian on Friday at the NAIA squad’s events center in Glendale, Arizona. Tipoff is 4 p.m. and the game will air on Fox Sports Arizona and Comcast New Mexico, NMSU reports.
As a result of COVID-19 restrictions, attendance has been strictly limited to the family members of players and coaches for each team. A maximum of 25 family members for each team will be allowed, per NMSU.
The Aggies, who are training in the Phoenix area as a result of public health restrictions in New Mexico, lead the all time series 2-0 — a 100-52 win on Nov. 11, 2016 and previously, an 81-61 victory on Dec. 30, 2015, both in Las Cruces.
