Deadly crash shuts down I-25 at Isleta

A woman is dead and two others are injured after a deadly crash that shut down Interstate 25 at Isleta Wednesday morning, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

BCSO spokeswoman Jayme Fuller said one woman is dead, another woman had her arm severed and a third person was taken to the hospital in an “unknown condition.”

Fuller said the crash occurred around 11:30 a.m and involved two vehicles at the Isleta exit. She did not say what led to the crash.

“Please seek an alternate route,” BCSO wrote on a Twitter post.
