Man and woman killed, child hurt in multi-car Phoenix crash

PHOENIX — A man and woman have been killed and a 4-year-old girl injured in a multi-car crash in Phoenix, police said Sunday.

They said a vehicle collided with another car that was exiting Interstate 10 around 4 a.m.

The two people killed were pronounced dead at the scene while the child riding in the same vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The names of the victims weren’t immediately released.

Police said one of the drivers may have been impaired at the time of the crash, which is under investigation.
