Attorney Frank Mathew Appointed to Santa Fe Judgeship


Gov. Susana Martinez announced today that she has appointed lawyer Frank Mathew of Santa Fe to a vacant judgeship in the the 1st Judicial District.

Mathew will be filling the vacancy left by former District Judge Barbara Vigil, who was elected to the New Mexico Supreme Court in November.

Mathew is the owner of Mathew Law Firm in Santa Fe, where he has practiced since 2004. Prior to starting his own firm, Mathew worked with the Jones, Snead, Wertheim & Wentworth firm for several years. Mathew has more than 30 years of experience in commercial and domestic relations law.

Mathew received his bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Notre Dame.
