Fire extinguished at Northeast apartment building

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Firefighters extinguished a fire in a one-story apartment building near the intersection of Eubank Boulevard NE and Central Avenue¬† Saturday morning.

All tenants safely evacuated the building, 142 Glorieta St. NE, without any injuries. Three of the four units in the building were occupied, according to the Albuquerque Fire Department.

A tenant called 911 to report the fire at around 7:45 a.m. Crews arrived to find smoke and flames on the outside of the building. The cause of the fire is believed to be unintentional, according to the Albuquerque Fire Department.
