‘Longmire’ back in N.M. for 2nd season

SANTA FE — The second season of A&E Network’s television series “Longmire” will begin filming at the end of this month and continue through mid-August in Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Los Alamos and throughout northern New Mexico, according to the New Mexico Film Office.

The series, produced by Warner Horizon Television, stars Robert Taylor, Lou Diamond Phillips and Katee Sackhoff.

The production will employ over 175 New Mexico crew members and more than 200 New Mexico principal and background talent, according to the Film Office.

Based on the bestselling novels by Craig Johnson, the contemporary crime thriller follows Sheriff Walt Longmire as he solves crime in Absaroka County, Wyo.
