Contractor finishes I-10, I-25 project early

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) — A contractor will get a $2.25 million incentive payment for finishing a major highway project in southern New Mexico ahead of schedule.

The Las Cruces Sun-News reports that A.S. Horner Inc. finished the yearlong reconstruction of the Las Cruces interchange between Interstates 10 and 25 about 60 days early.

The project included new bridges and a fly-over ramp between eastbound I-10 and northbound I-25.
