25th ‘run for the wall’

More than 350 motorcycles roared past Santa Fe on Friday on N.M. 599 as part of the “Run for the Wall,” a nearly 3,000 mile ride that started near Los Angeles on Wednesday and is due to end May 25 at the National Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. The cross-country trip is intended to honor military veterans, prisoners of war, those killed in action and their families. As participants went past Santa Fe, they were headed to lunch at Camel Rock Casino, then on to the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial in Angel Fire.
