SANTA FE, N.M. — Three armed men held up a medical marijuana dispensary Friday, getting away with processed marijuana.
The robbery was reported at about 10:45 a.m. at the New Mexico Top Organics licensed medical marijuana distributor on Bisbee Court in Santa Fe County, according to Sheriff’s Lt. William Pacheco.
Pacheco said the men tied up two employees before taking an undisclosed amount of marijuana.
The men then took cellphones and car keys from the employees. They fled in one of the employees’ vehicles, a 2003 silver Honda CRV with New Mexico license plate 863-PCN. Deputies are trying to locate the vehicle.
An owner of the business reached by phone had no comment.
Pacheco did not know how long it took the employees to free themselves before calling for help. He said no shots were fired and no one was injured in the robbery.
