Ahh, summertime is here.
Maybe not technically until June 21, but on Tuesday, Santa Fe’s only public outdoor swimming pool opened for the season with hours of noon-5:30 p.m. The pool will start its regular full-time hours of 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday.
The pool is located in Alto Park at 1043 Alto St. and features a 25-yard lap pool and a tot pool.
There’s also playground equipment for both little and big kids, including four baby swings, climbing walls, two big kid swings, slides and a stone labyrinth. A large field with huge trees and picnic benches is located right along the Santa Fe River.
