ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Police Department says one person is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on Sunday.

Alameda is shut down in both directions east of Coors, APD spokesman Gilbert Gallegos said in a news release. Drivers are asked to avoid the area for the next several hours.

Gallegos did not immediately provide additional information.
