Restaurants to raise funds for fallen officer

A trio of local restaurants is working with the New Mexico State Police Association Foundation to raise funds for the children of Darian Jarrott, a New Mexico State Police officer who was shot and killed outside Deming earlier this month.

On Thursday, local sister restaurants Pizza 9, Chello Grill and Revel Burger are planning to host a fundraiser and donate 100% of the day’s profits, according to a news release from Pizza 9.

To participate, customers may place an order at any of the three restaurants Thursday. Pizza 9 has 19 locations across New Mexico, and people wishing to participate may find a nearby location at www.pizzanine.com/locations-order-online.

Revel Burger and Chello Grill each have one location in Albuquerque. Readers can order online at www.revelburger.com or www.chellogrill.com.

Anyone who wants to donate directly may do so here.
