Briefcase: Promotions, hires and more


Yellowstone Landscape has promoted three employees in its Albuquerque office. They are:

Matt Yockonhawken has been promoted to landscape maintenance operations manager. He was previously a business development manager and has been with the company for seven years.

Anselmo Contreras has been promoted to landscape maintenance enhancements supervisor. Previously, he was the irrigation manager. He has been with the company for 13 years.

Adrian Robles has been promoted to irrigation supervisor. He has been with the company for almost five years.


Fernando Baca has joined WaFd Bank New Mexico as the vice president of commercial lending in Santa Fe. Baca has 22 years of experience in banking and commercial lending in New Mexico. He will be responsible for the management of WaFd’s commercial lending portfolio while building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners.


Mary Charley has been named the 2020 Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico Volunteer of the Year. Charley, a community health coordinator at BCBSNM, is an active member of the New Mexico community and supports many causes and organizations including Girl Scouts, Roadrunner Food Bank, Mitchell Elementary School and the Eldorado Eagles Football Booster Club. In honor of the award, BCBSNM will donate $1,000 to Charley’s charity of choice, Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails,Inc., Troop 10029.
