Promotion: More than 5,000 kids are expected for today’s final School Day Matinee and Business Person’s Special. Teachers and guardians are bringing groups of youngsters from 60 schools, inlcuding ones in Farmington, Las Vegas and Santa Fe. The kids get a sack lunch with each paid ticket.

… After today, there will be only two more weekday day games at Isotopes Park.

Sunday: The Isotopes fell to 11-4 at home with a 4-3 loss to Nashville. Albuquerque got nine hits but left 12 runners on base and had two thrown out at home.

Lead-off hitter Elian Herrera went 2-for-3 and extended his team-leading hitting streak to 12 games. Jeff Baisley also had two hits and walked once.

Nashville first baseman Sean Halton went 3-for-4 and drove in the game’s first run with a double.
