Prep state soccer resumes Thursday

Play resumes Thursday in the state high school soccer tournament with 10 games, including championship pairings in the small school boys and girls divisions at the UNM Soccer Complex.

In 1A-3A, the top-seeded Sandia Prep boys face No. 3 Bosque School at 2 p.m. at UNM’s Robertson Field after the noon girls final at the soccer stadium between St. Michael’s and Socorro.

Semifinals in the other divisions (4A girls and boys, 5A girls and boys) take place at the host sites of the higher seeds. The schedules are on this page. Per state public health orders, spectators may attend in accordance with the county’s color designation. At UNM, face coverings and social distancing are mandatory. Tickets are available online only (click on the link found here) and parking is $5.

Championship matches in 4A and 5A are Saturday, times and which fields are still to be determined.
