ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police called in the SWAT team Wednesday afternoon to respond to a man holed up in a University area apartment complex.

Daren DeAguero, an Albuquerque police spokesman, said officers were trying to detain a man on “several arrest warrants” at the De Anza apartments near Copper and Washington NE.

DeAguero gave no other details but multiple tactical police armed with rifles and at least one Bearcat tactical vehicle could be seen in the parking lot.

Eventually, officers could be seen taking a man with no shirt into custody.
