Geoff Grammer's AP Top 25 Men's Basketball Ballot for Jan. 28

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — After a week of 17 losses to Top 25 teams, including 14 of those losses coming at the hands of unranked teams, there were actually only two new teams to join my ballot this week.

I initially thought my ballot would have much more movement, then I took a step back and used the overall resume a little more this week than overreacting to anything that happened just in the past week.

Miami I jumped up 12 spots in one week but feel that was more of a correction for not giving them enough love on previous ballots as opposed to just reacting to their blowout wins in the past week over Duke and Florida State.

Creighton, on the other hand, I dropped 10 spots (and contemplated even more to get Wisconsin on my ballot) based not just on their loss at Drake, but on the realization that I’ve been giving them too much credit for a less-than-stellar overall resume the rest of the season.

Anyway, without further babbling, here is my Associated Press Top 25 men’s basketball ballot for Jan. 28, 2013, with records through Sunday’s games in parenthesis (CLICK HERE for my Jan. 21 ballot):
